Dr. Joseph Goggin, the Director of the Charlotte County Health Department gave a presentation regarding services performed by the agency. Their building on Grace Street was destroyed by Hurricane Charley, so they are operating out of trailers.  When they rebuild, they will maintain a clinic function in Punta Gorda; however their main building will be in Port Charlotte.  If a customer has an issue with rats in their building, the Health Department will address the situation.
