Peace River Quilters’ Guild
(click photos to enlarge)
The Peace River Quilters’
Guild, Inc. began in 1987 with a small group of
quilters who met at a
quilt
show. The Guild now has over 200 members.
Experienced and beginning quilters are welcome to
attend our meetings each Friday. Education is our
main focus, and national and regional educators
offer classes, workshops and lectures each month.
The Guild
created the “Kinderquilt Project” in 1993. The
Guild donates small quilts for napping
and security to students in the Head Start Program
at Baker Elementary School in Punta Gorda. |
