And...
life moves on
Hurricane Charley left Punta Gorda with a lot of
hardship, loss, disappointment and stress, all mixed with
the tears of
uncertainty.
And, it has given the people of Punta Gorda an even
greater reason to love our home. The caring and
compassion
we have shown to each |

other in this time of need has been
heartwarming. It has made our pain more bearable
and our hope for the future more justified.
We
live in a wonderful community, with incredible
people. While we will dearly miss all that we
have lost, together we will pick up the pieces
and move forward to an even brighter
tomorrow.
Editor's Note:
Since many of our writers have been
preoccupied with taking care of their
homes and businesses, this edition of
Punta Gorda Life will be an
abbreviated
version of our regular magazine. Also,
for those who normally access the
magazine using a cable connection, but
have now found it necessary to
temporarily use a dial-up service we
apologize for the loading time of our
pages. Even though we have reduced the
number of photographs in this edition, Punta Gorda Life is
a highly
graphic publication and
therefore, it is generally best read using a high
speed Internet connection. If you missed
last month's edition you may view it
here. With all that
said, thank you for joining us and we
hope you enjoy!
